From Taral the trail gains height and passes through thick forest here one can see variety of bird life and chances of spotting the Himalayan brown bear and mohal pheasants are quite good. The Himalayan langurs (apes) are a common sight. The campsite of Margi is an ideal spot. Leaving the lovely campsite of Margi is a long day’s walk and later part can become a trifle hot since there is a lack of forest cover, but the surrounding scenery more than make for the heat.
